Who is responsible

The short version

• We do not use tracking cookies or advertising profiles.
• We count visits with cookieless analytics.
• When you click through to a provider, we count that click without storing who you are.
• Providers may set their own cookies once you are on their site.
• We never pass your name, email address, phone number or payment details to a provider.

Analytics without cookies

We measure how many people visit our pages, and which ones, with cookieless analytics: Cloudflare. It does not place cookies on your device and does not build a profile of you. We use these figures only to count visits and improve the site, never to treat visitors differently. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running and improving the site. You can object at any time via the contact address above.

Counting clicks to providers

When you click a link to a provider, the link passes through our own server first. We record which link was clicked, on which page and when, so we can see which information is useful and check the commissions we receive. We do not store your IP address or any other data that identifies you with this count.

Cookies from partners

After you click through, you are on the provider’s website. That provider, or the affiliate network it works with, may then set a cookie to record that you came from flykurdistan.krd, so that we can receive a commission if you book. Those cookies are set on their site, under their own cookie and privacy policies. We do not load their scripts or widgets on our pages without your consent.

Hosting and technical data

Our site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages). To deliver pages and protect the site against abuse, our host processes technical data such as IP addresses. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards the GDPR requires.

Email

If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply and keep them no longer than needed for that: 12 months.

No profiles, no origin data

Interest in travel to Kurdistan can say something about a person’s background. That is why we do not build profiles, do not segment visitors by origin and collect as little as possible.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable form. Contact us at info@kurdistanfa.com. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or to the authority in the EU country where you live.

Changes

We update this policy when our site changes. The date at the top shows when we last checked it.
