About flykurdistan.krd

flykurdistan.krd does one thing: it shows flights and prices to the airports of Başûr and Bakur. You book directly with the airline or travel site.

Who we are

flykurdistan.krd is a small, independent flight search, made in the Netherlands by the team behind Kurdistanfa.com. We make it for the Kurdish diaspora flying home, and for every other traveller to Kurdistan.

What we do

We show flights to the airports of Başûr and Bakur, from Hewlêr and Silêmanî to Amed, Mêrdîn and Wan, with prices from our partners Aviasales and Kiwi.com. You book directly with the provider. Read how flykurdistan.krd works to see where our prices come from, how we order results and how we earn money.

We are about flights only. How you travel on from the airport is your own choice. For visa rules and links to the official travel advice, see visa and travel advice.

The Kurdish names we use

Kurdistan has four parts, and we use their Kurdish names: Bakur (north), Başûr (south), Rojava (west) and Rojhilat (east).

We also use Kurdish names for cities and airports, with the name you will see on your ticket alongside, so you can always find your flight: Hewlêr (Erbil), Silêmanî (Sulaymaniyah), Amed (Diyarbakır), Mêrdîn (Mardin) and Wan (Van).

For the large transfer hub on the Bosphorus we use its historic name, Constantinople (airport codes IST and SAW), and we call the airline based there by its short name, THY.

Partner sites may use other names. We cannot change what they show.
